What a great and exciting month. As you know, Kaci and I had an opportunity to go to California and witness to a lady that was struggling to come out of the Jehovah’s Witness organization. Thank you for all of your prayers. God answered them. I am happy to announce that the woman that we were witnessing to is now a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. Here is an email that she sent Kaci and I shortly after we left California:
“Hi there, I had such a very delightful and lovely day with you and your wife. I prayed to Jesus……. I hope he is listening to me. I hope I’m not hopeless… Hope …[we] can come to Colorado sometime. Let’s stay in touch.”
She prayed to Jesus! That is a very scary thing to a Witness because the Watchtower teaches Jesus is not God and should not be worshipped. So in addition to talking about who Jesus is, I showed her where Jesus says, “Come to me all who are thirsty” (John 7:37). She responded, and we know that Jesus says anyone who comes to Him, He will never cast away. Well, some great things have happened since then. Not only is she now attending a church but her kids are as well. God is doing some very incredible things in her life but they are still facing some heavy opposition. Isn’t God wonderful?! He is pulling people out in mass numbers. I am so happy that our Lord and Savior is on the move and saving the spiritually blind.
Another incredible thing happened this month as well. While I was at a school function for the kids I saw an old person I knew from the Kingdom Hall. He is still a ministerial servant, but God allowed me to talk to him for nearly a half an hour. I was able to preach the gospel to him and I know that it was no coincidence that he and I were both there at the same time. Please pray that the planted seeds will grow and he can lead a number of people out of the organization.
Blessings, Dan and Kaci
