Blessings from Dan and Kaci,

Through the ministry phone line, my wife and I had the privilege of meeting with a local person who is engaged in witnessing to a Jehovah’s Witness. It has been a very challenging time for this individual because of some situations that have happened in her life. It was such a blessing though to be able to encourage a sister in Christ to stay strong and to not lose heart. God ministered to this individual through Kaci and I, and I believe there will be some big changes in her life soon.

In the past few months as I have been helping people who are witnessing to Jehovah’s Witnesses, something has become painfully clear. This is a fact that I have known for a while, but it is something that I feel the Lord is prompting me to share this month. Here it is:

“We are not the author of salvation; God is. It breaks my heart that I have seen faithful Christians be sucked into romantic relationships that, in their mind, they believe they are going to save the person they are involved in. But instead of them bringing the Jehovah’s Witness out of the cult, they have fallen into various sins. “The heart is deceptively wicked” and as Proverbs 14:12 says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.”

Please if you are reading this, take heart. It is great to witness and I encourage it. But don’t let your efforts of witnessing bring you down spiritually. I have seen this lately and it breaks my heart. The Lord prompted me to write this, and I have tried to be faithful in what He has given me. I pray that everyone reading this will take heart.
