How to STOP Visits by Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormons

No Visits by Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons Please

HOW CAN I GET THE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES TO STOP COMING TO MY DOOR?

“While I respect the beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses. I have my own beliefs. I wish to request that these door-to-door people stop coming to my house. My property is posted with “no trespassing” and “no solicitation” signs, yet they ignore them. I have even asked them to leave me alone, but they keep coming back. I do not want to receive mail from them either. What can I do to get rid of them? If they do not stop coming, I will take action to stop them by calling on police assistance.”

OUR RESPONSE:

Dear friend,

We are sorry that the Jehovah’s Witnesses have been ignoring your request to stop knocking on your door. We agree with you that it is wrong for them to continue to disregard your request not to be disturbed.

As much as we would like to help you get your address removed from the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall visitation list, we apologize that our ministry cannot do this for you because we do not have access to their records. However, we do offer a few suggestions that may help:

1. You can place our “NO VISITS BY JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES” sticker on your front door. Most Jehovah’s Witnesses DO respect our sticker and will not visit when it is posted in a visible place on your property. You can make your own stickers free by clicking on the following links:

2. You can call your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses listed in your phone book and ask that your name be removed from their list. (There is no guarantee they will do this, but it is worth a try).

3. You can respectfully tell the next group of Jehovah’s Witnesses who visit your door that you do not want to be visited by them because you have studied their religion enough to know it is not the truth. When you do this, be sure to hand them our “Facts the Watchtower Society Doesn’t Want You to Know” website article. Jehovah’s Witnesses are AFRAID of any literature that exposes many of the errors of their religion, so when they see that you have this kind of literature on-hand, ready to give to them when they come to your door, they will be too afraid to visit again.
