.:WITNESSES
FOR JESUS PRAISE REPORT
FALL
2006
Dear Friends,
The last few months have been life-changing
for Bruce and me as we are enjoying the marriage God
has given us. In July, we found out that I am pregnant!
Even though I had a little morning sickness the first
three months, overall the pregnancy has been going well
and my energy is holding out. However, I injured my
back in a fall a few months ago and the back pain is
an issue. Your prayers for healing would be appreciated.
We are excited about all that God has for us with this
little one on the way due March 13th, and we look forward
to all that God is going to do in and through us as
we start our family!
As
far as ministry is concerned, the last few months have
been packed with many opportunities to reach out. In
September, Bruce and I were able to witness to two LDS
missionaries who visited our home three weeks in a row.
Also, I was able to teach on the subject of cults one
evening at Colorado Christian University, and I presented
a 4-hour seminar on Jehovah’s Witnesses at Mountain
Springs Church in Colorado Springs in October. Rob on
our volunteer ex-LDS website ministry team handed out
over 400 witnessing business card tracts to Mormons
attending the Salt Lake City LDS Fall General Conference
and had several great conversations with Mormon missionaries
at Temple Square. With the help of two Spanish translators,
we were able to send material to several Spanish-speaking
individuals who contacted us for information on Jehovah’s
Witnesses.
This fall, we finished producing our
first 2-DVD seminar: “LDS
Questions: Answering Questions Your Mormon Friends Ask.”
It is a powerful tool for anyone witnessing to Mormons
because it not only answers common LDS objections, but
it teaches effective questions you can ask to lovingly
challenge your Mormon friends. Broken into six segments
(averaging 20 minutes in length), many are using this
seminar for training in both adult Sunday school classes
and youth groups. Because we want to make it available
to as many people as possible, we are offering this
seminar at close to our cost for $12.50 (includes shipping).

Ministry
Needs
Since the announcement of my marriage in the summer
edition of the newsletter, we’ve noticed a significant
decrease in financial support that is beginning to cause
our monthly expenses to exceed our income. With the
upcoming birth of the baby and the consideration of
my husband’s ability to provide for my personal
needs, the ministry may decrease my paycheck at the
beginning of next year to adjust to my new financial
status and the growing expenses of the ministry. However,
if the lower trend in giving continues, it could jeopardize
some of the projects we’ve taken on—like
the translation of materials into Spanish and the conversion
of the Jehovah’s Witness and Mormon seminars into
DVD format for use in churches and home groups. Your
financial support as God leads is very important to
keep this ministry going. We appreciate your prayerful
consideration of us in your plans.
Prayer Requests:
1. Bruce and Christy’s marriage, pregnancy.
2. Adrain’s prison ministry to English and Spanish-speaking
Jehovah’s Witnesses.
3. Christian teenager Joan who joined the LDS Church
over a LDS boyfriend.
4. Salvation of LDS Braden and John
In His Grace,
