2 CHRONICLES 21:12:
"then a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet...."-
Did Elijah send a letter to King Jehoram after
his ascension into heaven?
PROVERBS 8:22:
“Jehovah himself produced me
as the beginning of his way.…” (Watchtower's
NWT Bible) - Was Jesus "produced"
by God prior to creation? (See also Proverbs
8:22 Dialogue with Cindy and Karen - www.4jehovah.org)
ECCLESIASTES 9:5: "...the dead
do not know anything...for their memory
is forgotten." - Are human souls unconscious after death?
HABAKKUK 1:12:
“…Are you not from long ago, O Jehovah?
O my God, my Holy One, you do not die.”
(Watchtower's NWT Bible) - Since
God cannot die, how could Jesus die if He is God?
MATTHEW
11:11: “...there has not arisen anyone
greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least
in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”
- Is John the Baptist excluded
from the kingdom of heaven?
MATTHEW 24:36: “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” -
If the Holy Spirit is part of the same God as the Father and the Son, why does Jesus not say that the Spirit knows what the Father knows?
MATTHEW 25:46: "...these will go away
into eternal punishment [NWT: everlasting cutting-off], but the righteous
into eternal life." - Do the wicked go to ‘eternal punishment’ or ‘everlasting cutting-off’ at death?
MATTHEW
26:52: "Then Jesus said to him, 'Put
your sword back into its place; for all those
who take up the sword shall perish by the sword."
- Was Jesus advocating that Christians
should not engage in carnal warefare?
MARK
10:17-18: “...a man ran up ...and
began asking Him, ‘Good Teacher, what shall I
do to inherit eternal life?’ And Jesus said to
him, ‘Why do you call Me good? No one
is good except God alone.’ ” -
Since Jesus said that only God
is good, how can He be God?
MARK
13:32: “But of that day or hour no
one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor
the Son, but the Father alone.”
- How could Jesus be God
if He doesn't know the day or hour of His return?
LUKE
6:27-28: “But I say to you who hear,
love your enemies, do good to those
who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those
who mistreat you.” -
Does loving our "enemies" mean Christians
should not fight against them in war?
LUKE
14:26: "If anyone comes to Me, and
does not hate his own father and mother
and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes,
and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple."
- Did Jesus advocate hating one's
mother, father, spouse, and children for His sake?
(Moriel Ministries)
LUKE 24:15-16, 31: "While they were talking and discussing, Jesus Himself approached and began traveling with them. But their eyes were prevented from recognizing Him. ...Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight." - Did Jesus appear to His disciples in a different body after His ressurection? (www.4jehovah.org)
JOHN 1:1a:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word
was God.” - How
can Jesus be "with God" and at the same time
be God? (www.4jehovah.org)
JOHN 1:1b:
“... and the Word was a god.”
(Watchtower's NWT Bible) - Is Jesus
"a god" or "God" Himself?
JOHN 1:18:
“No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten
god who is in the bosom [position] with the
Father is the one that has explained him.” -
Does the term "only-begotten god" mean that
Jesus is a "created" God?
JOHN 3:13: "No
man hath ascended up to heaven but he that came down
from heaven, ... the Son of Man." -
Since Jesus was the first to ascend to heaven, does
this mean that Elijah and other Old Testament believers
did not go to heaven?
JOHN 3:16:
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His
only begotten Son...” -
If Jesus is begotten, how can He be God?
JOHN
5:19: “...the Son can do
nothing of Himself, unless it is something
He sees the Father doing...” -
If Jesus is God, why can He only do what He sees the
Father doing?
JOHN 8:58: “Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.’ ” - Did Jesus Claim to be the "I AM" Jehovah of Exodus 3:14 or is the Watchtower's NWT Bible correct when it translates John 8:58 as “I have been” instead of “I am”?
JOHN
10:30 and 17:20-21: “I and
the Father are one.... I ...ask...that they
may all be one; even as Thou, Father, art in
Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in
Us.” - Since Jesus
prayed that His followers would be "one,"
does this mean He was not claiming to be God when He
said “I and the Father are one”?
JOHN
13:35: “By this all men will know
that you are My disciples, if you have love
for one another.”
- Does Christian "love" for brotherhood
demand abstinence from war?
JOHN 14:14: “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” [NWT omits the “me” in “ask Me anything”] - Did Jesus say “ask Me anything in My name” or did he say “ask anything in my name”?
JOHN 14:28:
“The Father is greater than I”
- If the Father is "greater"
than Jesus, does this mean Jesus is not equal to God?
(See also John
14:28 Dialogue with Cindy and Karen - www.4jehovah.org)
JOHN
18:36: "Jesus answered, 'My
kingdom is not of this world. If My
kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be
fighting, that I might not be delivered up
to the Jews; but as it is, My Kingdom is not
of this realm.' " -
Since Christians are citizens of Jesus' Kingdom,
does this mean we should not support earthly governments?
JOHN 20:15: "Jesus said to her, 'Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?' Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, 'Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.'" - Did Jesus appear to Mary in a different body after His resurrection? “…I ascend to My Father and your Father,
and My God and your God.” - If

it was not David who ascended into heaven….”
- Does this mean that king
David will not be in heaven?
ACTS 7:56
(c.f. Hebrews 1:3): “Behold, I see
the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing
at the right hand of God.” - How
can Jesus be God if He stands at the right hand of God?
1

is the head of Christ... Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father ...the Son Himself
also will be subjected to the One who subjected all
things to Him....” - Since
Jesus is in subjection to God the Father, how could
Jesus be equal to God?
1

body, it is raised a spiritual body...” - Was Jesus raised in a non-human "spirit body"? (www.4jehovah.org)

1 CORINTHIANS 15:50: “...flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.” -
If “flesh and blood”cannot inherit Heaven,
was Jesus raised as a “spirit creature”? (www.4jehovah.org)
2
CORINTHIANS 10:3-4: "For though we
walk in the flesh, we do not war according to
the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare
are not of the flesh, but divinely
powerful for the destruction of fortresses." -
Since Christian "weapons" are "not of
the flesh," does this mean that Christians should
not participate in national warfare?
PHILIPPIANS
2:6: “Who, although He existed in
the form of God, did not regard equality with
God a thing to be grasped.” - Since
Jesus did not grasp at equality with God, does this
prove He is not God?
COLOSSIANS
1:15: “And He is the image of the
invisible God, the first-born of all creation.”
- Since Jesus is called
the "first-born," does this mean He was created?

of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the

by evil” - If Jesus

you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not
