Welcome Christian Witnesses for Jesus!
WHO WE ARE – Christians Witnessing to Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons
We are a Christian ministry dedicated to sharing the good news of the eternal salvation in Jesus Christ. Our area of special focus is reaching the hearts and minds of Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons (Latter-day Saints or LDS). Whether you’re currently involved in either one of these groups or you have friends or relatives involved, our website is for you! Learn more about us here.
LEARN WHY MORMONS AND JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES ARE NOT CHRISTIANS – If they “believe in Jesus” why do we say they are not Christians?
Hi I’m Lee. For 32 years my wife and I raised our family Mormon. I was a High Priest and Bishop and our son served a mission in Brazil. As Mormons, we believed we were following Christ, until we discovered Polygamy, Polyandry, Blood Atonement, Lying for the Lord, and many other corruptions and false teachings in Mormonism. In spiritual turmoil, loving Christians reached out to us.
Hi I’m Trish. I was a Jehovah’s Witness for 42 years. I was lost and I was hungry and I didn’t know what for… until I found out who Christ really is. In all those years going door to door with my Bible, no one ever shared Christ with me. I don’t think they knew how. I don’t think they knew they could or that they needed to. I’m just so grateful someone finally did.
“I'm new to this site and from what I have seen so far I think this is fantastic! The power of prayer should never be under estimated. I am very excited to be able to talk with others who have been delivered. I pray that all our loved ones who are still involved with the Witnesses will see Christ in us through our example, I pray that we are equipped by the Holy Spirit to live as Christ lived.” -- Craig
Are you a Christian who has a loved one involved in a cult or false religion? Are any of your family members caught up in a pseudo-christian belief system, such as the Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons? We have a particular prayer focus for people struggling with issues in coming out of these groups and also provide a prayer covering for those who minister to them.Read more
WHAT IS COMMUNITY?
noun, often attributive com·mu·ni·ty \kə-ˈmyü-nə-tē\
: a group of people who live in the same area (such as a city, town, or neighborhood)
: a group of people who have the same interests, religion, race, etc.
: a group of nations
Source: Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary
Within family, neighborhood, school, work, and organizations, we gain community. Likewise, with a divorce, relocation, or job change we suffer loss of a once familiar community. Imagine several losses at once. For many who have had to walk away from the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses, their losses include their family and social group, and may also include a change in occupation and adjusting to a new location as well. This is a significant loss of community.
The human heart desires community, yet it's common for those hurt within one group to hesitate seeking another lest they get hurt again. To compound this, the Watchtower has inculcated fear into the hearts of it's members to hinder their quest for help from counselors, clergy, ex-members, or friendly neighbors just trying to get to know them. Healing can not begin without some community.Read more
It was another great year at the Mormon Miracle Pageant in Manti Utah! The pageant ran 8 nights starting on the 16th of June through the 18th and the 21st through the 25th of June.
This year was the 50th anniversary of the pageant, so Doug, my evangelism partner and best friend, decided to help in the Christian witnessing efforts of the 50th anniversary celebration with a new shirt that read, “The Church of Joseph Smith of Latter-day Saints.”
Kathy and I spent several days witnessing and teaching at the 50th Anniversary of the Mormon Miracle Pageant in Manti, Utah. Over 250 Christians from around the Country meet in this small Mormon Community to participate in the largest single outreach to the Mormon people each year. Our witnessing to the young adults of the Mormon Church was particularly well received as they honestly want to know the Truth, and yet they instinctively know that they have been deceived to some degree.
